Iceland is highly accessible, situated in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean midway between Europe and North America with only 3 hours flight from Europe and 5 hours from the east coast of North America. The capital city Reykjavik is only 40 minutes away and has been expanding its infrastructure and is evolving into a premiere international MICE destination.

  • According to the summer schedule 2015 there were more weekly flights  from Keflavik airport (#114) to N-Amerika than from Oslo (#28), Helsinki (#17) and  Stockholm (#28)  altogether and twice as many than out from Copenhagen (#60).
  • 25 airlines have scheduled flights during summer 2016  to over 80 airports in 69 destinations. During winter 2015/2016 9 airlines serve 45 airports in 39 destinations.

Our flagship carrier Icelandair has made codeshare agreement with Finnair, SAS, Alaska Airlines, Jetblue, WestJest, Porter Airlines, Rossiya and Air Greenland.
